Afterwards, we will go to the National Museum and the famous sculptor Bertel Thorvalsen’s museum. We will see the canals of the capital and know why Copenhagen is called “the Venice of the North”.

We will head to the only building in the world housing four state powers: Christiansborg. Here, we will see the Royal Representation Rooms, the Parliament, the Supreme Court of Justice and where the Danish Prime Minister’s offices lie.

After Christiansborg, we will see the Black Diamond, King Christian IV’s famous brewery and lately, the most discussed building of the city: Blox. We will visit Kongens Nytorv Square and the street and canal of Nyhavn, commonly called the ‘longest bar in the world’ due to the fact that the street is filled with bars. The characteristic of Nyhavn is the picturesque, multi-coloured houses from 17th century.

We will continue walking towards the royal residency: Amalienborg. If we are in luck and the Queen is home, she might greet us from her balcony while her guards play music.

Continuing, we will walk along the canal to go admire the Royal Theatre as well as the Opera House and arrive at Gefion Spring Water. Finally, we will also admire the emblematic monument of the Little Mermaid that according to experts grants fortune to those who visit.
